1. Definitions

Term	Meaning
"Personal Data"	Information that can identify an individual — name, email, phone, IP address, etc.
"Usage Data"	Automatically collected data about how you interact with the Service.
"User Data"	Survey responses, content, and datasets you collect via ZeroView.
"Respondent"	Any individual who completes a survey created through ZeroView.
"Cookies"	Small files stored on your device to maintain sessions and preferences.

2. Information We Collect

Account & Profile Data

• Name, email address, phone number, and organisation name provided during registration
• Billing information — handled entirely by our third-party payment processor; we never store card data
• Profile preferences and dashboard settings

Usage & Technical Data

• Device type, browser version, operating system, and IP address
• Pages visited, features used, and session duration within the Service
• Error logs and performance diagnostics to improve the platform

Survey & Respondent Data

Survey responses submitted by your Respondents are your User Data — you own it entirely. CNX only processes this data to deliver the Service and does not use it for any other purpose.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To create and manage your ZeroView account and deliver subscribed features
• To process payments and send invoices via our payment gateway partners
• To provide real-time analytics, AI insights, and dashboard reporting
• To send service-related communications — billing alerts, security notices, product updates
• To diagnose technical issues and continuously improve platform performance
• To meet legal obligations under applicable law, including India's DPDPA 2023

4. Data Sharing

We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: Payment processors, cloud infrastructure, and email delivery partners — all bound by strict confidentiality agreements
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users or CNX
• Business Transfer: In the event of a merger or acquisition, user data may be transferred — you will be notified in advance

No third party receives your Respondents' survey data without your explicit consent.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations. Upon account termination, your User Data (survey responses) is retained for 60 days to allow export, then permanently deleted. Anonymised, aggregated analytics may be retained indefinitely as they cannot identify you.

6. Data Security

ZeroView is built with security as a foundation, not an afterthought:

• AES-256 encryption for all data at rest
• TLS 1.2+ for all data in transit
• Role-based access controls limiting who can access what data internally
• Regular third-party security audits and penetration testing
• Secure, redundant data centres with 99.9% uptime SLA

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours as required under applicable law.

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies strictly for operational purposes:

• Maintaining your login session and authentication state
• Remembering your dashboard preferences and language settings
• Analysing aggregate usage patterns to improve the platform

We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect login and session features.

8. Payments & Billing Data

All payments are processed via trusted third-party gateways. CNX does not store, process, or have access to your payment card details. All transaction data is governed by the payment processor's own security standards and privacy policy.

9. Your Rights & Choices

Under GDPR and India's DPDPA 2023, you hold the following rights over your personal data. We respond to all verified requests within 30 days. See Section 10 for the full legal basis of each right.

10. GDPR & DPDPA Compliance

Indian Users — DPDPA 2023

We comply fully with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data, nominate a representative, and withdraw consent at any time.

EU / EEA Users — GDPR

If you are in the European Economic Area, you hold additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation: the right to restrict or object to processing, the right to data portability, and rights related to automated decision-making. Our legal basis for processing is legitimate interest, contractual necessity, and explicit consent where required.

11. Children's Privacy

ZeroView is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal data, we will delete it immediately. If you believe a minor's data has been submitted, contact sales@cnxdatalab.com promptly.

12. Third-Party Links

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrations (Slack, WhatsApp, Google Sheets, etc.). Once you leave ZeroView, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you connect to.

13. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' advance notice via email or in-platform notification before the change takes effect. Continued use of ZeroView after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
